I'm curious about what style this cabinet would be considered as. A friend bought it at a yard sale and these are the pictures she posted on Facebook.

Possibly kind of an Arts & Crafts-Art Nouveau combination, 1900-1920.

Yes, Arts&Crafts, most curious piece.

I would have said a sorta/kinda Empire style gone sideways with a bit of home done wood burning for the interesting detail?

Those feet interest me most. I'm thinking they are actually covered in silver plate? I wonder if your friend has any markings anywhere?

Very unusual and cool in any case! :)

What a beauty! I can see the Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau influences, but I also see a push towards Art Deco. The unique style and the fact that it is made of oak cause me to think that the sideboard might be English-made.
