Troubled by this stamp on a Yellow ware bowl.

This is a 9 inch yellow ware bowl by McCoy ( I think)

Looking for information about the odd stamp on the bottom.

Can we see the whole bowl please? I suspect its a date stamp - 1925, Month of January with the day being the 9th. This is the way the rest of the world writes dates on things. Only USA do the month first.

But the bowl is probably from OH. USA. I'd need to see it to be sure though.

Yes! I recognize this pattern though I don't remember the maker. It is definitely Ohio Yellowware! 

Look under: McCoy, Nelson McCoy, Brush McCoy, Roseville, or possibly Robinson Ransbottom, though I think most of there stuff is later. Yours, I think is turn of the century - 1900 to 1930 or so.
