I found this tapestry all folded up in the bottom of the hutch. It's 55" long and 18.5" wide. Looks like a middle-eastern scene. Unfortunately, it has water stains in places along the top edge. What would be the best way to clean this? Also, about how much is it worth?

Values aren't great on tapis anymore. I'm happy to get my cost on the last few I bought

15 years ago in France. Maybe google, cleaning water stains on tapestry.

I saw some videos but they were for just cleaning dust with a light vacuuming. That won't get out a water stain.

Water stains are a bitch. I have a pair of newly done silk chairs n the shop and sprayed a few drops of water in passing, oy.
