This item has been in my father's family for as long as I can remember. It appears to have a sculpted metal flower in that lights up in colors. I haven't actually powered it up in decades in fear that it may burn out.  I've never seen anything like it. I've attached a pic of it lit up. Can anyone identify anything about it?
