I've been trying to identify these things for years, unsuccessfully.  They are pressed glass but the weight seems to be less than one would expect.  They are roughly 6" tall and maybe 5" across at the widest part.  The base is smooth inside and looks like it may have fit over something else.  Any ideas?

Looks like a cruet set holder with rails broke off. It looks like it is chipped at 2 ends in the same place?

Hey Ray - I wrote to you on this piece in the Glass Hounds group! :)

Type: EAPG castor set. This is what yours should look like. Bottles are salt, pepper, oil, vinegar normally.

Thanks!  I have looked for this information for years!  I had many ideas, but never thought of a castor set.
