Please help with identification of 3 pc burlwood dining set.

Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me with identifying these pieces. I have the opportunity to buy them but the owner does not know the maker. Any help with the identification, period and value (I don't want to over pay) is helpful.

Exceptional 1920-30 Mahogany baroque revival set from Brooklyn made by Italians. Looks like nice shape, nice example of gaudy baroque exaggeration. Values are not as expected. Chairs are free, table maybe 150-200, server 200-300, curio, 150-200. Some people ask in the 1000s not knowing what these are. You'll cringe but these paint up so well, leaving the burled panels, fabulous and relevant. Use real Chalk Paint® only.

Thank you very much for the identification and estimated value. I agree, they are very elaborate. I am not a furniture flipper but if I was, painting them would be an option for your examples are beautiful. I was thinking of purchasing them for myself because I simply love the burl wood and the condition is incredible. But... if I were to buy them, I would have to split them up around my house to break up the busyness.

Good idea, look great on a wall but too busy in 1 room. here's the idea, paint around the burled panels.

I love that! The buffet in this set is the most busy. What do you think of removing "some" of the embellishments so it isn't so busy? Do you think it would leave a highlighted area? I could see this set painted, leaving some of the wood such as the tops and burl wood exposed.

I would love to do something like this. Just not sure how it would look if the veneer would look if the embellishments are removed.

That's another beautiful piece. My husband thinks I am crazy. I just picked up some project pieces for free. They are Berkey and Gay 3 pc tall boy, dresser and vanity set. The veneer on the tops are damaged, but the bones and drawers are all in restorable condition. Then I find this dining room set and I see so much potential there as well. I've never chalk painted anything before and it truly looks like an art on these pieces. Seeing all this makes me want to get a storage unit for my projects!
