It appears to be Arts and Crafts era--1910-1920.
You call it a Light Shade with chain? I think the light fixture can be seen in one of your pics. No pic of the chain, or plug to view. Also, none of your pics show the whole lamp. Have somebody hold it upright and take a picture.
Jeremy could be right but these were widely reproduced in the 1960s-80s, called "swag lights".
If it is old, don't call it "glass" but rather "slag glass" as that better defines it and increases the value.
The socket looks old, as does the bit of chain that's visible. I think it's an original, though as Tom says, these fixtures have been reproduced. If some of the glass has been replaced, which looks possible but hard to tell, that would reduce the value I think. But if the glass is original or an excellent match, I would expect to see a price of a few hundred dollars in an antique store.
