I have an oak ice box that I’m looking to sell. It was purchased and restored by my parents 35 years ago and lived in our house while I was growing up. I don’t know the history or the exact age of the pieces.  It is in very good condition and need some polishing/cleaning.  What do you suggest as a reasonable asking price for this? The piece is located in Chicago.

Well, completed listings on ebay are all over the place price wise. So, it's probably best to see if you can locate some sold one's in the Chicago area along with this list:

There is, I think a large flea market in downtown Chicago - Chicago land is it? That might be your best bet. To sell yourself, or find a dealer that would like your piece. The fact that it is refinished and not original may hurt a bit, and if you can discover what company made yours, that to should help. Good Luck!
