Michael you Aussies speak funny.  Through means finished. Thorough means did a job well.

BTW, I found Mr. Flaherty if you're interested. Edward Flaherty. Other addresses 140 Jackson Ave, Long Island City.  Also, 52 Boulevard, L.I.  Found 2 different bottles, both are blob tops, one has a wire bail.  Blob tops were used 1850s-1870s. Values depend on colors, rarity, and condition.

Also, he is better known under the name, Flaherty's Bottling Co. Lots more info.
