I Antique Online

A Community For People Who Buy, Sell or Collect Antiques, Collectibles and Art

This is another set from the house I bought.   This is a fairly complete tea set (I didn't count the cups/saucers before I boxed them) with the teapot and sugar bowl but the creamer is broken.

I've found Kahla online but not this pattern.

The bowl showing the mark is also showing a large crack on the bottom. Trying to sell it is a waste of time.(My opinion)

I didn't look thru this very far; not many images.  Might be a good learning lesson on using their free ID service.

Thanks for your replies Tom!   I doubt any of this is worth a whole lot but I think the crack you see on the bottom of the bowl is only in the glazing.  It doesn't show up on the inside of the bowl.

I scanned through those images but didn't see a matching pattern.   There's a lot of "No Image Available" there though so maybe I can help them complete their set!  :-D

Tap the bowl with your finger. If you get a bell tone it's not cracked, but if it goes "thud" it is. Some hairline cracks don't go through.
