Is this a John Ambrose painting and does anyone know the value

I bought this thinking this is a John Ambrose painting.  There is his signature at the bottom.  The painting is 12x16 done in what looks to be oils.  Thanks in advance

Hi there Amy. Something tells me it may not be a John Ambrose. I have looked at quite a few of his paintings and the signature is the same all the time. He does change from right to left bottom corner but he always signs first and last. I could be wrong. It is his type of painting but there is no John. I am posting one of his
