Information states they are potters from Arizona BUT are actually NOT Native Americans.  Interesting.

Thanks for information i found it yesterday in a thrift store lol. I’m from the UK so I was surprised to learn where it was from. I guess the potters are Native American inspired then as the patterns are so similar.

They are well-known for their "black on black" methods.  I think the painting style of your piece really does look like Acoma pottery.  It is probably worth more than you paid for it, regardless.  Look them up!  Good find.

Native American Pottery Acoma signed G.G. or a combination of those terms.  It was a little Hit or Miss, as usual.
