I Antique Online

A Community For People Who Buy, Sell or Collect Antiques, Collectibles and Art

Hi everyone! I picked up this older children's armoire/dresser over the weekend. The woman I got it from didn't know much about it except if had been in the family awhile. It has fawn and rabbit decals over wood cutouts that are screwed to the doors. There are some other decals decorating the frame. Inside it has pine drawers (that look newer, maybe replacements?) on the left and a metal hanging rack on the right for hanging clothes. I'm guessing it's from the 1950s or 60s but I'm not sure. I've googled everything I can think of to try to find the piece online but to no avail. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks!

Not an armoire as that's a French wardrobe. This is more of a chiffarobe say 1950-60s.

Thanks for the correction on the terminology.

If you google "childs chiffarobe" and click on IMAGES you will find many similar to yours including this one!
