I believe it to be by Stomps-Burkhardt, but so far haven't found out how to ID for sure. Anyone with a rough value estimate?

Thanks in advance!!

As is value to me wholesale, $40-50. It might be more at auction but they take stiff %ages.

A lady brought his one in, rough shape, for $20 and then we did it up.

Big Face North Wind and lion oak throne chair?  Obviously, much less ornate, but the design is quite similar.  This particular chair sold for around $2000 on Bradford's antiques.  Hope this helps a bit.

Toyota and Bentley in comparo. There is a mrket for them it seems.

Here's one similar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Oak-Chair-with-Lion-mask-and-Scroll...

I have seen these go from $500 to $3000 depends on where you sell it. I would advertise it in the Antiques and The Arts Weekly

Here's some auction results-all over the map on price of course.  https://new.liveauctioneers.com/search?parameters=%7B%22pageSize%22...
