I found this at an estate sale a few years ago and have not been able to find any information on it.
It is 8in tall x 8in diameter on the top. The lid is concave on the bottom and says LANGAA-KOPPEN on the top and bottom.
The very bottom piece rotates in a circle and there are small holes at the base where it turns (as if to drain).
At first I was thinking it was for ice but why would the bottom turn?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

From the design and function I'd say it's a rotatable flower pot.
A Danish Cheese Form.
Commonly from 1960's made of Teakwood and Iron.
I agree, it does look like a cheese form. I am going to post several pics shortly, of some glass, pottery, and porcelain, that I am haveing some difficulty id'ing the maker. I hope someone cna help me ... it has been an ongoing frustrating sititution for quite some time.
