This lovely watch still works and the case is stamped 19k gold filled, American Standard 25 years, 16 jewels. The face and the actual mechanical part of the watch are stamped Bering Watch Co. Swiss.

I've looked and looked for that, or any watch with a yellow face and can't find anything. The watch band looks like a Spiedel band. It doesn't fit very well.  Bering has a USA store and may be able to help you. https://beringtime.com/us

Is this the same watch as sol on eBay here?

Given the fact the Berin Watch company still exists today, why not contact them directly.

Nice find Michael!

Karin lives in Sandusky, Ohio and coincidentally the EBay location of the watch is also Sandusky! I thought that "gold filled" was worth less than "gold plated".

"Swiss" is where the movement was made.  Bering Watch Co. is in Denmark.
