I have started to sort thru book shelves. I found Camp Fire Girl Books and Five Little Peppers. Does anyone know how to value these if they are collectable or are these books an item of the past ? Thank you

Oh, yes they are very collectible. That's what we do...rescue and refurbish collectable and antique books.

My recommendation is to look on EBay and on Abebooks. Abebooks is focused on antique books and is more likely to have listings like yours. But, sometimes EBay has them...often at lower prices because folks do not have expertise in this arena.

You should consider copyright date, publication date, which printing, and the condition of the book as the primary things impacting pricing and desireability.

Thank you Sally  & Ernie ! One is a volume 1 dates 1914 The Saalfield Publishing Company, Akron, Ohio    New York with Roman Numerals

and the other is 1918 published MA Donohue & Co  Chicago   New York
