Another mystery tool! Some sort of hook.

This one is about 8" long including the handle. The metal is very flexible and the end is curved, almost like a hockey stick. There's a notch or cut out at the end. Someone suggested a button hook, but I don't think so.  My guess is it's related to weaving but it could be sewing related as well.  It also looks like the point is slightly sharp and might be used for cutting or piercing.

Could it be a "loom needle threading hook"?  This item has the bend and the hook:

I think you are right betty, the newer heddle hooks are made for the 4-8-12-16 head machines so they are longer

I think it's too flexible to sew leather with. The metal is thin and bluish and bends very easily somewhat like those old wooden shoe stretchers if you know what I mean.

Hubby worked in the weaving industry and says it's a reed hook.  Goes in a weaving machine, through the harnesses and reed and draws the threads through.  In the weave they're called dents, and the reed hook draws the dents in the reed.  Does that make any sense to you? Not to me, but he knows what he's talking about!
