I'm really not a collector but I am interested in buying a certain globe and thought this might be the place for information about it.

Would anyone have this snow dome for sale? It is a WWII era airplane set on an angle (it's wing) and it was made in Tenn by a Crystal Company.   Airplane has a few red markings on it's wing. It's a very simple design. I'll be able to add a picture of it in a few days. 

Thanks again for the Welcome. I may get to become a collector. I do come across a lot of them in my estate sale adventure trips.

I am familiar with it and have it in 2 versions in my collection.
One of these came up recently, about 3 weeks ago on Ebay.
You might want do a search occasionally on Ebay for it. 

Also, I will check mine to see if I could release it for sale and let you know.

I did purchase one from ebay just last week but I need 2 of them. To give as memory gifts of my Father. I"ll be giving 1 to my Brother & 1 to my Sister. I give them a fond memory gift once a year that represents our younger days home with our wonderful parents. Both have since passed. I know they will cherish it. Actually they will be flabbergasted that I even remember it being I was the youngest.

Hi Andy, Wondering if you have given any thought to releasing one of your airplane vintage globes. One just like the photo I sent. 

Who would you recommend to take apart and clear up a vintage glass ceramic base dome? Such as mine.
