Vintage hangars are popular nursery collectibles. Plastic hangars (1950s) are easier to find. . Wooden hangars are typically found with nursery rhyme themes, hand painted designs or decals. Plastic hangars generally are found in pink, blue and yellow are are less expensive than the wooden variety.Older nursery hangars are adorable additions to hold baby's layette or to use for decoration. Share your vintage nursery hangars here..

TINA!!!!! Fancy "meeting" you here...I just joined. It's been so long since we've chatted ~ I hope all is well with you.

Sorry, didn't meant to get this thread off topic. Those hangers are PRECIOUS. They'd be fantastic for photographing your gorgeous dresses, Tina.

Hi Bossy Baby,

The photos came from my book, Hot Cottage Collectibles for Vintage Style Homes......the photo on the bottom is a Laundry baby hoop without the bag. It is from the 1940s , handpainted. It was submitted by www.arosewithoutathorn.com

The top photo is from www.pinkpigwestport.com.
Hi ladies. Mine are admittedly not as cute as the old vintage ones, but I do make new children's wooden hangers that are really sweet and one of my top sellers. All the hangers are primed, painted with two coats of paint and embellished with a waterslide decal then sealed with matte finish to protect the decal. I have ballerinas, roses, Eiffel tower with roses in pink and little boys hangers in blue with toy boats, toy trains, spinning tops and a toy wagon of blocks. I am adding more designs soon. You can view them at:

I'd love your feedback. They are much more afforadable than the vintage ones at $5.25 each, and the paint is free of any lead. I have online sales a lot, so if anyone is interested in my sale link, please let me know. Thanks!
