Vintage Tins Converted to Wall Art Figure Assemblages

I have to be honest...I was a little taken back to see such wonderful tins altered to make art. But You have to admit...artist Bill Finks http://primitivetwig.com/about.cfm does a wonderful job crafting beautiful vintage inspired decorative wall hangings.

As you can see Bill puts vintage parts and tribkets nodds and ends er creating wonderfully whimsical pieces. He told me that customers bring sentimental pieces to him and he incorporates them into a piece. For example, a woman who has a large collection of bill's work brought him timepieces and jewelry from her late grandmother which Bill added to some custom art assemblages he did for her.

I sure would like to see more of this current work---I really, really like it. The website seems not to have been updated in 3-4 years and doesn't have any of this assemblage work
