I have several vintage cards (humorous) I can't seem to find much on. These are marked on the back "A Pastel Card" Doubl-glo, followed by a number. Does anyone know age/value? Thank you

hi sherri
I don't have any of these to compare with, but my best guess is they are from the 1930s-40s the paper appears similar to Hallmark's Rufftex
paper novelty mfg made doubl glo
approx value $5-10 each
they look to be in great shape and collectors love the puppies!
best of luck jen
Jen, Thanks for the reply. They are all in really good shape with the exception of one. I love the drawings and most of the sayings. The paper reminds me of construction paper ( a little thicker and somewhat rougher.) Again, thank you.
If you decide to list them online I might include "tag" words like 'pipe' 'tobacciana' 'smoking' as well as the 'dog tags'lol
here's a link to a rufftex card that I have http://vintagerecycling.blogspot.com/2012/02/valentine-greetings-19...
I will keep that in mind. Thanks again, Jen. You have some wonderful cards on your sight. Made me smile.
Sherry,
Your double-glo card is much more common in England. Most cards are in the $2-$5 range. Some of the earlier issues can be valued up to $30+. Some often come folded. Go to this site: postcardmake.com/tools/double-glo
