This tiny tin dog is about 2.5" long. It no longer winds up, but when it did, its tail would spin around. When I acquired it, it was missing an ear which I attempted to make one from a pencil eraser. I also assume that the original tail is missing something and is now just a metal rod. It says JAPAN on the underside. Any idea how old this is and maybe a value?

These 3.5" tall wooden hand-carved Scotties were sent to be by my great uncle in the 1970s when he heard I had acquired a Scottish terrier as a pet. The family lore is that they were carved by a family member that has served in the Spanish-American War in Teddy Roosevelt's "Rough Rider" regiment, although everyone that may have confirmed this story has now passed away.

Here are more of the dog collectibles I've amassed over the years. Opinions or comments on them are most welcome.

What I assume is a perfume bottle (left) and a milk or cream pitcher (right).

These glass dogs might have been candy containers.

These figurines are all made from a non-magnetic metal.
