Holly and Mark of Used Furniture of Canton, CT discovered that if they paint their furniture white...it sells...this place moves pieces in and out quicker than all the neighboring antique shops. Got a lot of furniture hanging around? paint it white or a pastel color and watch it sell!

Here is an item we just made in the shop for the cottage decore, it was a coleman gas lamp now converted to a electric table lamp.

Just watching CNN while I am reading this and even though this shouldn't be a surprise being that our economy is such a mess, I feel so bad to see her business go Chapter 11. Even though Chapter 11 is reorganizing and perhaps she can make a come back. Hearing about Fortunoff closing its doors in NYC and this is a lot to handle in one week.
