Where did you find so many in such pristine condition? I've been collecting for years and many of my finds show the wear and tear of time and use. Are they vintage or reproductions? Pics of some of mine uploaded.

Hi Owen,

I love your collection!! You have some really nice items and the dolls are so precious. My items are all authentic and I only buy mint or near mint condition items. I just see so much beauty in these types of collectibles!! They make me smile everyday.

Crazy4Me

Thanks. Do you have a name?

HI,

My website is at Crazy4Me

You took the liberty of calling me Owen rather than Mr. Levy suggesting a social intimacy that does not exist. So your first name is Crazy?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, I called you Owen as your reply to my post was signed "Owen".  You can call me Yaz.

Hi All. I'm sure there will be much disagreement on this. But i Have always found these types of Mechanical Banks and Vintage items some of the MOST racist items on the market. They focus on a time that was, for lack of a better word, SHAMEFUL. And many of the black people produced in this age was a direct result from the bigotry and prejudice of folks who believed in selling other "human" beings much like these items are being sold here. Apologies and much effort on the part of like minded human beings are needed. Of course, it is not to be expected from NON-African people to take this viewpoint too quickly. They probably did not and STILL do not  experience the SHAME of these times of history. They come from a different angle in the scheme of things. But these items are just reminders of how one people socially and mentally "breeded" another people. Any thought on this please?
