I am brand new here and I am so happy I found this website. I am trying to get a little info on what I believe is a childs ride toy from the 1940's. Its a basic steel frame with four wheels. The child would sit and place his or her feet on small plates welded to the front axle to steer. They would push and pull a lever/crank that had linkage attach to the rear axle which would move the car forward. The hubcaps on the wheels are stamped "P and S" I have attached a picture. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Also, my passion Antique Outboard Motors so feel free to contact me if you ever come across an old motor you need info on.

The generic term for them is Irish Mail. There is many makers of them and styles. I had not yet seen one (or owned one) like yours.
