Love it, Craig! Makes me think...we should have one whole discussion on Store Front Window ~ Christmas Decorations! Thank you!

So...does everyone know the history of Dept 56 and their soooooooo collectible snow villages??

"One Christmas evening, a group of friends set off to enjoy a dinner of celebration at a small country inn nestled in a quiet river town. As they rounded a bend in the road, they saw the small, old-fashioned village...READ MORE.

Your display is fabulous!  Reminds me of the house visits we did seeing all the displays!  It is fun isn't it?  We can all pretend we live in a certain house.  I did get the Elsie's Gingerbread House in the North Pole collection and I will have to find a photo of my display I did.  Oh, I need to unpack it but I have no place to set it up, maybe I should sell it, also the Collector's Club House and Dorothy's ( Hamill)  Skating Rink House with an ice rink next door.

I will be looking for them.

I did make photos of my Tea Light Snow Village. I ordered this small six piece set in the 1970's but can't remember from who? It was an inexpensive set but has big nostalgic value as it was around each Christmas when our children were growing up.

These stayed in storage this year. Makes me wonder why as I look at the photos here.

I would love to have room in my little cottage to set up and collect tons of pieces of a Snow Village! Here's an article about a lucky collector: Christmas Comes Alive in Snow Village

I would love to have this quaint, Victorian, porcelain cottage for a snow village!

Christmas...Back When
