I am a specialized apron collector. I collect those that were specifically made to be worn while doing needlework, mostly referred to as sewing, knitting, mending, or darning aprons, but
sometimes called fancywork or work aprons.

Just received the invite for the new apron collectors group - what a coincidence because I just bought an old vinyl hat box at a yard sale last weekend and when I opened it up, it was full of vintage aprons! As I'm not a collector, more of a pick-and-sell type, I'm open to suggestions on what to do with them..Thanks! Maureen
