Would appreciate any help with dating this dress which appears to be Victorian, however, does have a zipper (may help with dating).   Some of the lace is beginning to fall apart from dry rot and there are a few holes in the lining of the bodice.  Wonderful tie-up bodice, beautiful trimmed lace and satin edging with pearl buttons.

Well, clothing, nor wedding gowns are my strong suits, however I did find info on your zipper mark "YKK" - It was first manufactured in 1934, so your dress would not be older than that.

Yes not my forte either but thanks so much Vicki.. that is a big help.  I am also wondering if the zipper may have been added later?  Just a thought.
