During World War II the American people were asked by the government to do their part, by conserving necessary items to help the war effort.  Because of this, ration stamps were issued by the government to Americans for various commodities.  There were also instructions for saving certain commodities for recycling. I have two partial war ration stamp books dated 1943 along with additional loose stamps from this period.  This archive is available at the Vintage Touch ONLINE store at:

My father acquired these 3 bayonets during WW2. All three are in good condition and are in sheaths. I have no provenance other than that. Any idea as to their value? (photos show the bayonets beside their sheaths).

VINTAGE FIXED BLADE MILITARY FIELD KNIFE.  THESE WERE ISSUED TO SOLDIERS
IN THEIR FIELD GEAR/MESS KITS. THE KNIFE IS MARKED ISC 1918 AND THE HANDLE IS MADE OF ALUMINUM.
BLADE IS CARBON STEEL AND HAS WEAR FROM SHARPENEING/USE.  MEASURES 7 1/4" LONG AND WOULD BE GREAT
FOR MILITARY COLLECTION.
