Terrific, Now that's the big one that didn't get away! LOL.

Hey Oralei. This is not really "decorating" but a good reason to show you one of mother's large mouth bass. Caught in a ox bow lake of the Miss River and nearly 9 lbs. Enjoy. BTW, caught on a wood (origianl not reissue) Lucky 13. ED
Hi Ed!
I LOVE it! You just made my day! Looks like decorating "cabin style" to me! All you need to do is add the Lure like Dawn did in her post above.
I guess I need to run down a couple of those "Lucky 13" maybe our luck will change. We are becoming known as the best "rock" fishermen in the country! LOL.
Your mother must have been beaming with excitement and pride catching this one. .We ( more than likely)would of ate him! Hmm ...maybe not. :)

Thanks for sharing. Now lets see that Lucky 13! We are all about learning and sharing.

Does the Bass sing a song if you press him? Mine does. I mean, did.  Batteries are dead!  LOL.

At a yard sale for $1.00 I bought an 18 inch long bass lure advertising piece.  It hung from the ceiling in a retail store. I think it was a Pluegger (sp?).

My sister spotted it (at my  house) and her hubby, an avid fisherman, fell in love with it.  They have a NEW park model cabin on a river in NE Washington state where he fishes.  I gave it to them.

He attached it to the wall above his bathroom sink. The huge treble hooks (covered with clear plastic protectors) are used to hang guest towels...a perfect fit.
