I have 8 pipes that have not been used in at least 40 years.

Can anyone provide me with a way to identify each kind of pipe and the manufacturer?

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks, Sheila

For briar pipes, the maker is often on the mouth piece. Sometimes it is a symbol (like a diamond, a spade or a heart), or perhaps an name.  These can then be cross referenced on line with several pipe web sites.

Thanks for the help!
