I have a cigarette case about 4" X 3" with a slightly curved profile that has been in the family for well over 60 years. Its metal with
lovely etchings. Any information or ideas you might have about this
design would be greatly appreciated. I also have a Kaywoodie cigar
holder in it's case made of Meerschaum and I'm thinking bakelite, but
don't know for sure about that part. It is app. a 46 gauge holder and is 2 1/2 inches long. I would love to know the age of
these two things and what they may be worth. Thanks for taking time to
read my post!

Thanks SO much! I've even got some simichrome around here somewhere to check that out. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. And it certainly DID help!

I don't read Arabic, but I think there is some sort of writing in the shield. It could have been made in Spain for the Moroccan trade??

hope these work this time!
