lillian, isn't Santa and Baby New Year toasting with champain the new year?

This is a label from a cigar box. It may have been cutesy decades ago, but now it probably would offend some people - Santa drinking wine with a minimally clad, chubby Baby New Year.

In reply to the question below from 'Antiques in Bethania' ....about my clay pipe.  You may be exactly correct that it could be earlier.  I got this and another at an estate auction....and both have sold, that is the reason I removed the comment so soon.   Maybe I sold too cheap but that's ok.  Thank you for the information on the pipe though...never realized that it would have been a communal piece that was shared.

Deanna - I believe your pipe is earlier, reason being is that this would have been a communal pipe. Men would carry a separate insert and share the smoke. Also the way it is made - can I ask where you got it?

RICHARDS RAZORS;  MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE

RICHARDS RAZORS

1960s Bugler Cigarette Making Kit; Machine, Case, Papers, Etc
Still in original display box, never removed....NOS Bugler Cigarette making kit.  Includes Machine, one package of Tobacco (still sealed) with gummed papers inside;  Hinged metal cigarette case and one extra package of gummed rolling papers (not shown). Great dispay piece or go ahead and use it.
This cigarette roller will make filter tip or non filter tip cigarettes, this roller, as far as I can determine dates to the early 1960's; it was a great way to cut the cost of buying packs of cigarettes.    The roller is in new old stock condition and can still be used today.  If you smoke this is still a great way to save on the high cost of cigarettes or put on a shelf for anyone that is into tobbaconia collecting.
COST $40.00 OBOSHIPPING $6.00 CONTINENTAL USA

For Lillian - most of these were "Made In Japan" in the 40's and 50's. They are cute and collectible, but I was only able to get $40 for the dog one I had - and it wasn't broken. So, I think ebay might be a good start. Then just goggle "Vintage Cigarette box". You should find lots of examples.

This is a gorgeous thick heavy piece of glass...beautifully styled with lift top embossed goldtone lid.  This piece is either a tobacco jar or could easily be used as a beautiful vanity jar.  Currently on display in the Large showcase area of the Vintage Touch shop space in Antique Crossroads, Hagerstown, MD.  For details and direct purchase information click on: http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/photo/large-victorian-vanity-jar-or?...

Wooden case with bird cigarette grabber and cigarette roller. The bird doesn't grab the cigarettes - it has a busted beak. The roller has some rust on the bottom. How much should the price tag say on these items?
