I have this book & am wondering if this is a 1st edition and need comments on condition and value- have no idea where to start with this on an asking price- the only copies I can find on Abe Books don't have pictures.  This copy has gold on top edge, rough cut page edges that are yellowed, beautiful illustrations with tissue to protect them- there is one small rip on the first page with an illustration at the front of the book-its pictured.  There's no dust jacket, pages throughout are yellowed but illustrations look nice- don't see a lot of staining on the illustrations- someone wrote 25c in pencil on the top corner of first blank page.
