Hello. New to the group but been on iAntique for awhile.
I am a Prop guy for feature films and am right now prepping a piece set in New York City, 1948. We have clearance to use Coke in the movie, so I am looking for period coke bottles to throw into actors hands in scenes, but am also interested in finding other period brands/bottles to put into the mix so it's not a big Coke commercial. Any ideas for sources of bottles, signage, or in store advertising of brands from the period would be greatly appreciated.
Since I do the props I deal with everything the actors touch, so if you have anything besides soda bottles from 1948, which people would carry, hold, or move around that you want to part with I'd be willing to take a look.

OMG! I Love green river, here in chicago most of our stores carry it for a few weeks prior to st. Patricks day, other than that it's dificulte to find, unless you peir into the chicago river for which it was named!!

The canada dry wild cherry is cool to, never knew they made it!!
