I don't know, Craig. Mine is @grandmatreasure and I'm thinking about deleting that account because my personal account keeps overriding everything I try to do (https://twitter.com/ellenehere).

Sadly, I can't even figure out how to follow you with your account right there for me!! #feelingstupid

Craig...after you get your breakfast down, send me your twitter link so I can follow you.

Deanna, I clicked on your link and then clicked on follow but I can't see it in my Following List! :( Sigh...I will keep trying.

Thanks, Craig, for this great advice BEFORE breakfast!

I am all about exposure and good SEO out there. I've had my own website since 2007 and definitely try keep up with the every changing Google analytics game! :) I share from my website on Facebook and Pinterest. But, this Twitter thing has stumped me. With the good help here, I will make it happen!

Oh thank you, Deanna!

So...I guess I was looking for the blue birdie icon on here (IOA) and didn't see it. Now, I'll look for a feather?? :) When you say "list something" on IAO, do you mean when you start a discussion? Or when you post a photo?

I did check out Who to Follow and didn't like their suggestions. Tried to do a search for Pinterest accounts I like and didn't make it yet.  I will definitely TRY to follow you!

ellene, it is all about exposer,

I use all the above not m y space much any more, it is about having people who re share your face book pictures/links to your web site  for google anilitics sp?? my spelling is terrible,

don't just post pictures of your neet items from your computer photo gallery, post from your web site, and have the pictures renamed not r1-0-34i3u-3932 garbage the camera or computer tags them with, tag them with  glass, carnival, vintage, antique, www.b-c-e.biz (your web site) vase (or  what ever it is), and any other pertent info about the pc.

Google reads that and remembers that info so when some one googles carnival glass vase orange, it matches up the info and you end up in google images, also when posting to pintrest, with crumb trails back to your web site makes good back links to your web site so google thinks you are a smart cookie, ( we knew that)

more later my tummy says breakfast time to keep your pills from eating your belly up.

Actually Ellene it is a feather not a pen/pencil icon LOL.....also if you click on the # side when you bring up twitter, you can scroll down & there will be a topic, "Who to Follow" and they provide suggestions of people you might want to follow - hope a list shows up since you are new.

Ellene - when you list something on IAO there is a twitter button that will send that to twitter - that is pretty easy. My eCrater store has a twitter button as well - so look for the button - most sites have a place to add a twitter button. Otherwise it is a copy/paste url put into your pencil/pen icon on twitter to add a new item listed. Of course you can tweet about anything the same say - click on the pencil/pen icon and a dialogue box appears. As far as getting the right followers - it's helpful to start following others yourself and they will come. My twitter link is http://twitter.com/vintagetouch Hope this helps a bit. If you connect your twitter account to FB, anything you post on your FB page will automatically go to twitter so it's good to connect your sites as much as you can - do this is your settings.

So...I jumped into the Social Media scene in 2007 with a blog about my collectibles, followed by a website, followed My Space (remember that??), followed by Facebook, followed by Pinterest. I set up personal Twitter account in 2010 but didn't ever "get it." Yesterday, I set up my Grandmas Treasures Twitter Account and I'm still clueless. Anyone on here want to show me the ropes?? My goal is to figure out HOW to get the right followers and how to tweet my new listings.
