ran out of room- it has flower and birds etched in it- or drawn- bottom says korea then silver any ideas? thanks!!

Looks blackened inside,  from incense burning. "Lotus Blossom Censer". Retail value for silver plated is $25-35. USD.

Before using you should put some sand or ash in the bottom to prevent heat damage to the silver.

Some of them have lids; do you have a lid, if not, is there a lip for a lid? No lid, value is around $12-15.

well THANK-YOU!!- I had no idea what it was- but surprised the artwork is outstanding- seems like it would be worth more- il just keep it  use as a vase- thanks again

I would vote for it as a soup cooker--"hot pot".  A bit of charcoal would be placed in the center which would heat the broth to near boiling, then veggies or shaved meat would be added. They would cook and stay hot as you ate the soup. It can get mighty cold in Korea and this would allow a fast, warming meal.

thank you- it is like a bowl all around- so very well could be!!
