As the bulk of the 250 pounds of silver items we have been liquidating for nearly two years dwindles I am left with the Rodney Dangerfield items, PLATE!!! Arghh.
As there is some market for some makers out there I have wrestled with this set .. see the four piece set in the photos. The issue is, while the pictorial mark of the crossed keys, as found on the popular site linked below fits .. the initials do not!
Is it that crossed keys mean SHEFFIELD? And the WW could be William Woodman or William Ward or Wakely Wheeler and on and on???
The original invoice when the dealer I am liquidating bought the items in 1964 attributes it to H. Wilkinson. Doesn't seem right .. the initials dont fit.
Any suggestions to clarify this appreciated .. Zeke
PS: This has been discussed on the WHADYAFIND area but it was recommended for me to post it here for possible further information, thank you .. Zeke
