These were in the family bank safety deposit box. Two left most are dated December 25, 1895 which I assume might have been Christmas presents. The one on the right, and a different style, is dated June 1, 1898 and likely a birthday memento. The names engraved on them I don't recognize, but may have been purchased by my mother at a long-ago garage sale. Despite their coppery appearance, they are actually tarnished silver. Is there a way to tell if they are solid silver or plated. They are very light for their size. Any other comments appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Lillian, All sterling silver in marked. At those dates you might have the word "sterling" or hallmarks. Do you see markings anywhere?

You're right! I didn't think to look inside, but difficult for me to see with my old eyes, but enlarged with camera I can see they are sterling.
