I found this wonderful little bowl (compote, plate) with a silver base/stem and i thought it was gorgeous but i cannot find any information on it..
the base has a swirl design similar to the sandwich pattern on depression
glass the dimensions are 9.25 x 9.50 x 3.25 inches it is a dark amber in
color
on the bottom it looks like an IR is embedded into the silver base on the
underside I thought it was just scratches (as I said bad eyes) but using
the magnifier they are very distinctive i have taken a pic on white and
got up as cose as I can with the initials

I don't see any writing; maybe make a close-up picture if you're convinced there is some.

The base looks like a casting then silver-plated to me. Not sterling. Maybe what you think is writing is just a casting defect.
