VINTAGE CHURCHILL CHINA TEAPOT WITH TWO CUPS AND SAUCERS – DISCONTINUED WILLOW ROSA PATTERN!

Asking Price:  $60.00

This is an exquisite vintage Churchill China teapot with two cups and saucers in the discontinued Willow Rosa pattern (#152129). They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The classic Willow Rosa pattern is an Oriental design including a bridge, pagoda, willow tree and doves. The teapot with lid measure approximately 5 1/4” in height and hold 5 cups of liquid. The cups measure 2 5/8" in height x 3 5/8" in diameter and the saucers are 5 5/8" in diameter. They were made in England and are dishwasher and microwave safe. Churchill China can trace its origins back to 1795 and the foundation of its first factory in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, England. It is very difficult to find this teapot in this particular color and pattern, especially with lid and in excellent condition. It is a highly desirable and collectible piece!

JEAN-CLAUDE GAUGY WOOD CARVED PAINTING - OLD FISHERMAN SMOKING PIPE!

Asking Price:  $750.00

This is an early piece by prestigious artist, Jean-Claude Gaugy.  The subject is that of an old fisherman smoking a pipe.  The artist's former wife, Michelle Gaugy, stated the fisherman was one of his favorite subjects in which he incorporated into much of his early work.  This is one of Mr. Gaugy's carved wood oil paintings.  This particular piece seems to be carved from pressed wood and painted in subtle hues of red and yellow.  The art measures 16 1/2" x 19 1/2".  Jean-Claude Gaugy signed, dated (Aug. 31, 1973), and added the location (San Francisco) on the back side of the painting.  Click the title link to see additional photos and a fascinating bio on the artist. This is a really special piece that is sure to be the center of conversation!
