My son collected them and left them when he moved out a few years ago. They are antiques and a beautiful collection. I have no idea of the value nor where to find someone who may be interested. Any idea?

this kind of pic is like taking a pic of a parking lot full of cars and asking about opinions about the guys collection of cars.

nice collection of locks i see locks here that can run from $5 to 50 retail or more with out knowing brands model if it is a rail road lock, and condition and with or with out keys hard to say how much value is there the keys hard to say can not see them hardly

first ? did your son move out badly? if i can ask. you might ask him if he wants his lock collection back, first. jmho

you need to know at least it is a yale lock or who ever made the lock if posible and if you have the key that fits ( that adds value if you have a working lock) but don't go to a locksmith to have a key made for it not worth the added expense if your selling the lock

Craig

No, he just had so much stuff he didn't want to bother with taking. Many are YALE locks and others are different names. I will catalogue them with individual photos. Who knows I may even get attached to them! lol

Usually , I am sure everyone else does as well, try to check on ebay or google. Some of the locks if they have the keys can be of value. By the way, if you have a padlock called Schubert & Sohn  let me know.I have the key for it :-) https://www.etsy.com/listing/201057117/vintage-keyold-keygenuine-ke...

Thanks, Emy. I'll check.
