I came across a shiny, silver tone cross, and i am curious about it. It is about 10" high, made to hang on a wall. Looks rather cheaply made, I would guess from a mold. I wonder about it because on the back is a price sticker of 88.00. There is no makers mark of any kind, looks like pot metal to me, but then whay on earth was it so expensive? And very shiny, no rust or tarnish, and i have had it for years, bought it at a thrift store. Anyone tell me what it might be made of?

Could it be pewter? Hard to tell with blurry pics. Try the macro setting on your camera for close ups.
I am not sure, all I have is cell phone camera, sorry it is blurry, didn't look so bad 'till I posted, then it got blown up, lol. It's not real heavy, but I don't think it's aluminum. Thanks for the guess, its one I had not thought of, but no tarnish?
