I Antique Online

Hi all. I have this on consignment, a handmade FLower Basket quilt from the 1930s, full sized. One stain on the back side (maybe removable)-any thoughts on current value?

Very pretty quilt in good shape except for the stain.  Nice and cheerful.  Depends on where your shop is located, how much someone wants it, etc.  I must have had 30 quilts in my shop at one time, cutters and hand sewn and machine sewn, etc.  When I closed, someone wanted to give me $5.00 each for the cutters so I donated them to my sister to make things from.  The nice ones I had at $50.00 with no takers.  I brought those inside and use them myself.  Obviously, things are not good in upstate New York still.

The cutest little old lady brought this in-her mom made it in her basement in the early 30s by hand. She knows it's not worth the 'over 1000 dollars' that it was 10 years ago. I showed her ones on feebay and the best were selling for about 150, many 25-50-didn't want to shock her as we have no defibrillator in the shop.
