I use chenille in a lot of my totes and pillows. I have also used chenille in patchwork quilts. I only cut up what they classify as cutters. Anything that is still beautiful and can be used as is, I either save or sell. I know what you mean about wanting to cry when you think of beautiful items that have gone through your hands. I remember selling many great collectibles at garage sales I had many years ago - now they are worth money. Oh well, we know better now and that is what counts. Hugs - Sandi

Yeah, but Sandi - you take things that are not worth much the way they are and turn them into really beautiful things. I guess that's the point. Saving my collectables (as they aren't "antiques" yet) is something I feel I should do for future generations. And you know I do use vintage fabrics for my own projects, but I don't think I did the world any favors by cutting up those bedspreads!
