Christine, this is gorgeous! It reminds me of the top notch company that made chenille bedspreads in the 1950's, and probably older, but I can't remember the company name. It may have started with an 'm'. Take care, Diane  :O)

Hi, Diane,  Are you thinking of Morgan Jones?  I'm pretty sure Cabin Crafts was a good name, too.  I don't have a chenille collectors book.  It's next on my list.  Thanks for responding.  See you around!  Christine

Christine, do you know the names of any chenille collectors books?  :O)

Hi, Diane

The one I see a lot has a chenille peacock on the cover.  It's by Greason and Skinner and is called Chenille:  A Collector's Guide.  It's published by Shiffe

Christine, thank you! I've never heard of it, or seen it on Amazon.com. There, and also my local Half Price Books Store, is where I get most of my collector books. (I guess I have to set each discussion to let me know when anyone replies, and this one wasn't set. Sorry I didn't see your reply sooner!) Take care, Diane :O)

I absolutely adore chenille.  Unfortunately, the bedspreads don't often have labels on them.  I do know that Bates Mills made wonderful bedspreads.  I have chenille material that I purchased at a mill in Lisbon Falls, ME (Worumbo?) for sale right now on eBay.http://www.ebay.com/itm/200899834061?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&...
