ANTIQUE SHOW CALENDAR SITE RELAUNCHED

Antique and Art Show managers and promoters now have a fresh
opportunity to publicize their events through the recently relaunched
Calendar of Antiques. The self-service site creates a page for an
event that includes, links, contact information and a Google map. The
listings are provided free of charge.

“Shows small and large can immediately benefit from a presence on the
Calendar of Antiques,” says Promoter Eric Miller. “The site is really
a tool to help shows get the word out.”

The site includes categories for art shows, antique shows, auctions,
vintage markets, gallery events and museum shows. The events are
color-coded to allow for easy differentiation. The site also includes
useful publicity tips for using social media and getting the most out
of web sites.

Calendar of Antiques initially launched in May of 2010, but recently
underwent a format transformation to allow promoters to upload their
own information. Future functions are expected to allow users to
search for events by geographic location and type.

To list an event, simply enter the details here:

An Ecrater seller?:

Some free places to advertise your individual items or entire store:

or

Free sites, you will need to work at promoting, but it does pay off.

Hot Off The Press From The Editor

I am looking to start State or Regional Groups like the one Stu Rider did for New England Antiquing and Out Of The Attic did for "Antiquing Chicago Style'. on Iantiqueonline.com Would you like to get the ball rolling for your area?

You can send me your ideas (Dianne@cdiannezweig.com) or you can go ahead and post your own group and it will come to the Editors Desk For approval.

Tips About Starting These Regional or State Groups

1. You need to be enthusiastic about your state/region....you are going to be the moderator

2. Be sure to include a group icon (photo) which is exciting and colorful

3. Read about group Moderators in The Editors Help Desk Group

4. You will be bring attention and traffic to the shops and places of interest in your region so you can invite others to join you in this group.

BONUS

The Moderator who has the most members in their regional or state group by New years Eve will receive a gift. this offer applies to all NEW groups that are started after receipt of this email.
