new law in Lousiana those who deal in 2nd hand goods can't take cash must take check, debt or credit card?? WT?????

Whoopee . . . my new SQUARE is so adorable, totally brainless to use and I just processed my first sale and immediately pulled the plug from my wired machine, called Merchant Services and happily - no make that ecstatically closed my account!!!!!!

No  Craig - my THANKS to you again! I almost bought a wireless machine but that would not have solved the high fees I am paying. Now my next research is to see about going totally wireless with my cell phone carrier and get rid of my land line/broadband, which I can do for more than half the price of what I am paying now - any thoughts?

Yes the dreaded telemarketer calling i can do without. We have all had our cell phone numbers for many years now and i could have the number ported. In addition - the internet gives a great deal of visibility for searching - so I am really not concerned about the phone book. Half the numbers in the book are discontinued and I can always buy a yellow page ad if needed.
