That is a really good idea to show your store as an avatar.  A little free advertising can go a very long way.  My dog happens to litteraly come running when you break out a camera or a camcorder.  There are SO many shots of him hanging around my house or on my computer that we have.  He is even a star on my sisters blog (hollyschindler.blogspot.com).

To all members of I antique on Line - this is a great place, but what even makes it greater is being able to "see" you --- and by seeing you, this does not mean your actually self but an identity or pseudo image if you will, that could be anything you want to be (within reason). I have many different Avatars - or images - but here I like using a photo of my brick and mortar store. I also like using my puppies - one such photo is of my Yorkie Zoie with her five puppies beneath her, and one pup in particular named Mackie who at the same time I snapped the picture, rolled on his back. This is definitely a Kodak moment. However; you do not have to be camera proficient and can even choose clip art or anything free from the Internet.

We want you to have an enjoyable time here, and to stay a while. which means we would like to "see you" !!!!

Anyone interested in buying The Criterion Commencement Yearbook for 1928 From Bridgeport Connecticut?

Let me know ASAP or it goes to the local auction house next week

Comment by Dempsey's CollectAbles on February 5, 2011 at 5:15pm

as the entire collection goes, I would sell for 9.00 ea. across the board, pp or pick up. I realize there may be some that are worth good $, but, I haven't the time to go through the feat of finding out which is which. And I don't really want to take the time to list each on ebay.  So there it is. For someone who don't mind doing what it takes to find them proper homes.

a few years ago i listed about 20 yearbooks on ebay and a re-sale site offered me $17 each on 10 of them that i put in fixed format (the others averaged about $25 in auction format). it was in utah or colorado? can't remember the name. i googled but can't find the site, sorry.

004800x600.jpg  These beauties are unusual, coffee grinder lamps with real beans in a glass hopper. ornate handles on grinder wheels, and on wooden stand. Plug right in and light up. If anyone knows who would want them, asking $175 for the pair!

If anyone is interested, I would sell single yearbooks out of the collection. My aim is to GET EM GONE, ALL of EM!
But, if interested, $25.00 per book pp 4.00 media in the States.
